It takes pride to announce that Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have been listed among 11 best value destinations for tourists in 2016 by the well-known travel guide site Lonely Planet.
Both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which are the biggest and busiest in Vietnam, are considered as having “magical” prices for those who consider much about travel budget by spending only US$20 a day or less for all food, lodging and visiting the tourist attractions.
Hanoi has been ranked 2nd and Ho Chi Minh is on the 3rd place in the list mentioning from making prices comparison among 31 Asian cities carried out by Price of Travel’s Index. It is attached in the list that Estonia in Northern Europe tops Lonely Planet’s budget list, including New Mexico, Quebec and Western Australia as well.
In addition, earlier this year, TripAdvisor also suggested Hanoi as the most affordable international destination in annual TripIndex report which had a thorough look into 60 key tourist cities all over the world. The leading travel review site also suggested Hanoi as the most suitable affordable destination where tourists will spend around $732 a couple or $366 a person only for 3 days 2 nights journey.
