The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee has announced its plan on launching fireworks to mark the Vietnamese Lunar New Year 2014 in Hanoi.
As planned, there will be total 29 locations to hold fireworks displays throughout the city. In which there will be 5 locations for high-range fireworks: Hoan Kiem Lake (in front of the Hanoi Post Office and Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarter), Thong Nhat Park, Lac Long Quan Flower Park, Van Quan Lake and My Dinh National Stadium.
The remaining 24 locations in the inner and outlying districts will see low-range fireworks displays.
The firework displays will last for 15 minutes – from 00.00 – 00.15 am on January 31.
